Bird in paradise

I took a photo of this bird in Florida last year. I isolated it to the right side and drew in a setting. Cute. That's all I can say. It's not the style I'm aiming for. Good practice only.

We are making art -- across the Atlantic Ocean --

and talking about it -- in cyberspace.

We've been doing this for more than a year after meeting each other in an online photo class at Kat Eye Studio in Oregon, USA.

We finally decided to bring our conversation into a blog after realizing we wanted an ongoing documentation of our personal artistic progress and the conversations that inspire our growth.

We've never physically met each other, but we've learned a lot about what makes us tick in our separate creative lives. What we are doing may be happening all over the world.

This blog makes our conversations a little more public. We hope others will feel free to comment.
